The size 3 soccer ball is the most appropriate sized ball for children between the ages of 6 and 9 as it is best suited to help them develop ball control and execute their drills effectively. A ball which is too big, ie. size 4 or size 5 will not be suitable.

The size 3 soccer ball is the next size up from the size 2 which is made for skill development of players of all ages and for practice for children aged 3-6 years old.
